What can I do in the Clinic?

  • Types of surgeries performed each trip will be dependent on the specialties our surgeons possess
  • Our February and June Trips are usually more "general", with gall bladder, hernia, and lump and bump removal.  If specialists are present, other surgeries can be performed
  • Other specialties, such as Urology and Orthopedics are scheduled throughout the year.  Check our schedule or call the office for more information
  • We need: Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Pre-Op, Post-Op and PACU Staff, and Translators. Others with OR-Room experience are welcome

"Typical" Day (Of course - Flexibility is key to having a great mission trip, but here is a sample schedule, but here is an idea of what you can expect!

6:45AM - Catch the bus or wake up with a beautiful walk to Centro Medico San Lucas

7:00AM - Enjoy an amazing breakfast and great fellowship followed by a time of encouraging devotions and worship

8:15AM - Surgical Team begin daily work; Village Team - organize, pack up the bus, and head to the village

12:30PM - (or as schedule allows) - Break for Lunch

4:30 PM - Village Team pack up and head back to San Lucas

5:00 PM - Surgical Team finishes up

6:00PM - Enjoy more fellowship and a dinner that you won't want to miss

7:30PM - Head back to Hotel Zaci and take a walk in Valladolid or relax by the pool


  • You are responsible to get to and depart from Cancun.                                       You will receive details when you apply. We will take care of the rest!
